Student Opportunities

The Armed Forces training units present undergraduates with the unique opportunity to undertake a military training programme alongside their degree course at the University, gaining insight into army life. These programmes vary, but generally involve the development of basic military technique, leadership and management skills and practical training that works flexibly around your studies.

The three service units are:

Students of the three Universities and higher education colleges in the area may apply to join any of the units on a voluntary basis.
